Everybody keeps telling me that i should write a blog for my upcoming trip (or as I like to hyperbolise it; my upcoming awesome adventure), so here it is.
For those who don't know, I am travelling across South America for 10 weeks, west to east coast, from Ecuador to Brazil, passing through Peru and Bolivia. Why am i doing it? Because i have always wanted to and i thought if i don't do it know then i never will.
I don't want to make a big deal about this trip, hence why there will not be many posts in the run up to departing (5 weeks til launch) and at the end of the day (hate that phrase), this is a 'travel' blog, not a 'sit at home on the sofa in my pj's writing this whilst watching Jeremy Kyle' blog. I will be posting while i am there, telling people what i am doing, mostly so they know i am alive.
I do have two problems with blogs however. Numero uno (i'm trying to learn Spanish): I always forget to post on them, Numero dos: I tend to forget that this is a blog and not a personal diary, so if i start talking about emotions give me a quick virtual nudge.
